LOSCON41 – Three Panels

loscon41

Well, surprise, surprise, surprise! I will be on three Panels at LOSCON, one on storytelling and two on Improv/Storytelling. And yeah, that’s THE Larry Niven, Todd McCaffrey, and so on. I hope you can join us. LOSCON is happening November 28-30, 2014 – LAX Marriott Hotel, Los Angeles, CA. I hope you can join us!

FRI 4:00 pm – 5:15 pm
Storytelling: Ancient Tradition Into Today (Chicago Suite)
Storytelling is perhaps the oldest form of education and history transmission within cultures and societies. We will discuss ancient, historical and contemporary expressions of storytelling, how some different cultures view it (particularly indigenous cultures) and what, if any, boundaries apply or are crossed when telling of events, peoples and situations we are not directly a part of.
